Our achievements
Here we collect our students' successes in competitions, sports events and projects.
How we publish results
We give the class or team name, not students' names. Children's personal data is not public information, and a list of winners online stays in search engines for years.
We publish results in the news section within a week of judging. In June we gather them in a summary of the whole school year.

Where our students are strong
Maths. For years we have taken part in the Zielonogaj Maths League, in the Grades 4–6 and 7–8 categories and as teams. The maths club prepares students for the competition.
Reading, theatre and photography. The youngest take part in the “Loud and Clear” reading aloud competition. Older students prepare performances for the “Akacja” Short Theatre Forms Festival and photos for the photography competition.
Sport. Our teams play in town and district leagues in handball, basketball and volleyball. They also compete in cross-country running, relays and table tennis.
Subject competitions. We enter students in Grades 4–8 in competitions organised by the regional education authority. Prize-winners of these competitions are admitted to secondary school with priority. Finalists receive extra points in the admissions process.
Whole-school achievements
We also count as successes the changes that benefit all students:
- working on a single shift with over six hundred students;
- the building is accessible to people with reduced mobility;
- a year-long project in every class, shown to parents every June;
- a school garden set up by students and parents;
- new interest clubs that grow out of students' ideas.
