Access to public information
How to submit a request for access to public information, how quickly we reply and what information we cannot disclose.
Where to look first
We publish a lot of information without a request in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) and on this website. This includes the statute, regulations, financial plan, reports, organisational structure, information on assets and procurement notices.
If the information has already been published, in reply to the request we indicate where it was published.
How to submit a request
A request does not need a justification or a statement of legal interest. There is also no compulsory form. A letter in which the requester states what information they are looking for and in what form they want to receive it is enough.

Form of disclosure
We provide the information in the form specified in the request, if technical means allow. If this is not possible, we explain the reason and suggest another form.
Access to information is free of charge. We only charge a fee when the requested form involves additional costs, for example printing a large number of pages. We tell you the amount before preparing the information.
Processed information, i.e. information prepared specifically for the request, is provided when it is of particular importance to the public interest.
Limitations
The right to public information is limited by the protection of personal data, privacy and secrets protected by law. That is why we do not disclose personal data of students, parents and employees or records concerning specific individuals.
Such records include, among others, grade sheets, records of psychological and educational support and employee personnel files.
Refusal is made by way of a decision. An appeal against the decision can be lodged through the head teacher within 14 days of its delivery.
Register of requests
We keep a register of requests for access to public information. It records the date of receipt, the subject of the request and how it was dealt with, without the requesters' personal data.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to say what I need the information for?
No. A request for simple information does not need a justification. A justification is only needed for processed information that requires special preparation.
Can I submit a request without giving my name?
Yes. We only need a way to contact you, for example an e-mail address, to send the reply. A name is only required if we issue a decision to refuse.
Can a parent find out other students' grades this way?
No. The grades and records of individual students are not public information. Parents have the right to information about their own child – this is provided by the form teacher and the e-register.
