Admissions timetable
The dates of admissions to first grade and the pre-school classes are set every year by the governing authority, and we publish them in the calendar below.
The municipality sets the schedule for the next school year by the end of January, and we publish it straight afterwards. All dates can be added to your phone's calendar.

How admissions work
The stages are the same every year; only the dates change. Children from the school's catchment area are affected by the first three stages: once the registration form is submitted, they are admitted.
Publication of rules and forms
We publish the admission rules and criteria on the enrolment page. Application and request forms are available from the school office.
Open day
On a Saturday at the start of admissions, we invite parents and their children to see the school.
Submitting registrations and applications
We accept documents for three weeks at the beginning of March. The school office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30–15:30.
Checking applications
The admissions committee checks applications from candidates outside the catchment area and counts the points. It may ask for documents confirming the statements.
List of qualified candidates
The list is posted by the main entrance. Being on it does not yet mean admission.
Confirming the intention to enrol
Parents of qualified candidates confirm in writing that their child will start school with us. There are usually a few days for confirmation.
List of admitted candidates
This ends the main procedure, usually in April. The appeal deadlines run from this day.
Supplementary admissions
We run it only when places are left, usually in May. The stages are the same as in the main procedure.
Appeals procedure
The deadlines are counted from the day the lists of admitted and non-admitted candidates are announced. They are set by education law, so they are the same every year.

The head teacher's decision may be challenged before an administrative court.
Where to check the results
Lists are posted by the main entrance on the day given in the admissions calendar. Because of children's personal data, we do not publish them online or give results by phone.
We announce in the news section on the same day that the lists have been posted.

Admissions: lists of candidates qualified for first grade
The admissions committee has published the lists of qualified and non-qualified candidates. Parents of qualified candidates now confirm that they want their child to be admitted.

Open day: families of future first-graders at school
More than a hundred families visited us on Saturday. The children saw the first-grade classrooms and the after-school club, and parents talked with teachers, the school counsellor and the speech therapist.
