Clean Up the World: all classes tidied up the area around the school

Wearing gloves and carrying bags, we went out to the park, the green square on ul. Akacjowa and the nearby pond. Each class had its own section and sorted the waste it collected.

The campaign is part of the Green Class project. The school provided the gloves and bags, and Zielonogaj Municipality arranged the waste collection.

Grades 1–3 cleaned up the area around the school and the playground, grades 4–6 the park, and grades 7–8 the pond bank. We sorted the collected waste on the spot as part of the lesson.

Most of it was plastic bottles and drink packaging. The seventh grades will count the waste collected and prepare a chart for their maths lessons.
