School Talent Day: a stage for everyone who wants to perform

The gym turned into a stage. Thirty-eight performers and groups took part with music, dance, recitation, sports displays and science projects.
Talent Day was organised by the Student Council. The board collected entries for three weeks and arranged the running order so that younger and older students took turns on stage.
There was no jury and no prizes, because Talent Day is not a competition. Every performance was rewarded with applause, and every performer received a commemorative certificate.
The audience included students from all classes and parents. We will pass the recording on to form teachers, but we do not publish it online. We post photos and recordings of children on the website only with parents' written consent.
Student Council – how it works and how to joinI signed up because I wanted to play on stage for the whole school at least once. My stage fright went away after the first few bars.
