Winter fair: decorations and gingerbread for the school trip fund

The school hall filled with stalls of decorations, gingerbread and cards. Thanks to pupils, parents and teachers, the fair added money to the class trip fund.

Whole families came to the fair, including former pupils with their siblings. The gingerbread iced by the Year 3 classes and the hand-sewn decorations from the art club sold out fastest.

Volunteers from the older classes ran stalls and packed purchases. The after-school club set up a corner where younger children could decorate gingerbread by themselves.

Thank you to everyone who baked, sewed, bought and helped with the clean-up. The Parents' Council will spend the money raised on class trips in the second term.
