Winter video call between Year 7 classes and our partner school in Bavaria

Year 7 classes had a video call with peers from our partner school in Bavaria. Pupils talked about winter in their towns and showed the cards they had made.

The conversation lasted one lesson and followed a prepared plan. Each pupil asked the pen pal one question in German, and we wrote the answers on the board.

At the end, both classes did a joint quiz about their schools and towns. We had posted greeting cards to our partners a week earlier.

The conversation was led by German teacher Ewelina Sobolewska. In line with the rules of the partnership, we do not record the video call.
