Erasmus+: welcoming guests from our partner school in Spain

For a week we hosted twelve pupils and two teachers from our partner school in Valencia, Spain. The visitors attended lessons with us and worked together with our pupils on a joint project.
The visit is part of our cooperation in the Erasmus+ programme. The topic of the joint project is water in the city: where it comes from, how we save it and how we look after rivers.
The visitors took part in English, science, maths and PE lessons. In mixed teams, pupils prepared posters and short presentations in English.
A week with our visitors
Getting to know the school
A welcome in the sports hall, ice-breaker games and a walk around the school with guides from Grade 8.
Lessons and workshops
Joint lessons in Grades 7–8 and project workshops in mixed teams.
Presenting the results
On the last day the teams showed their presentations to pupils from other classes and to parents.
We thank the families who invited the visitors for afternoons and the Parents' Council for the farewell refreshments. At the end of October our group travels to Spain for the return visit.
