First-grade admissions for the 2026/2027 school year

Published: 16 February 2026 Categories: Admissions

Children from the school's catchment area are admitted on the basis of an application, while candidates from outside the area take part in the enrolment procedure. Admissions run for three weeks at the beginning of March.

First grade is for seven-year-olds, and at the parents' request also six-year-olds. Children living in the school's catchment area are admitted automatically, on the basis of a registration.

Candidates from outside the catchment area take part in the admissions procedure if places remain after catchment-area children have been admitted. The criteria and points are set by the local authority that runs the school.

    Admissions step by step

    1. Registration or application

Child from the catchment area – registration. Child from outside the area – application for admission with documents confirming the criteria.

    2. Submitting documents

Signed documents are submitted to the school office within the admissions period. The form on the website is only for preliminary registration.

    3. Lists of qualified candidates

The admissions committee publishes the lists of qualified and non-qualified candidates.

    4. Confirming your intention

The parent of a qualified candidate confirms in writing that they want the child to be admitted.

    5. Lists of admitted children

After the confirmations, the committee publishes the lists of admitted children. Any remaining places are filled in supplementary admissions.
