Zielonogaj Maths League: registration for Grades 4–8

A new edition of the inter-school maths league is starting. The tasks combine calculations with everyday situations. Maths teachers accept entries, ideally before the first round in November.
The league has three rounds: in November, February and May. Points from the rounds are added up, and separate standings are kept for Grades 4–6 and 7–8.
Taking part is voluntary and free. Task sets from previous editions can be borrowed from the school library.
Questions about the league
Do you need good grades in maths?
No. The league is for anyone who likes puzzles. The tasks call for ideas, not just quick calculation.
Can you join in February?
Yes, but points from the missed round are lost. The standings are based on the total of all rounds.
How should you prepare?
The best way is to solve tasks from previous editions. Maths teachers go through them at the maths club.
