Maths League final: two podium places

In the final of the Zielonogaj Maths League, a student from class 6A won the Grades 4–6 category, and our school came second out of seven in the team ranking.

Forty students from seven schools in the municipality qualified for the final. The tasks combined calculations with real life: from planning a trip budget to working out the area of a sports field.

In the Grades 7–8 category, a student from class 8B came third. The team ranking adds up results from all three rounds of the league, so second place is the result of a whole year's work.

The students were prepared by maths teachers Robert Kwiatkowski and Natalia Górska. The league returns in the autumn, and the tasks from this edition will go to the library as practice material.
