Mid-year grading and parents' meetings after the break

Published: 7 January 2026 Categories: Announcements

Before the break we close the first semester: teachers enter predicted grades, and the teachers' council approves the grading. After the break, parents meet form teachers.

The first term ends in the last week before the winter break. By then teachers give mid-year grades, and the teaching staff approves the grading results.

We inform you of predicted grades via the e-register a week before the staff meeting. During this time you can arrange a conversation with the subject teacher.

    How mid-year grading works

    1. Predicted grades in the e-register

Teachers enter predicted mid-year grades, and form teachers the behaviour grade, a week before the grading meeting.

    2. Conversation with the teacher

If you have doubts about a grade, please send a message via the e-register. The teacher will set a time to talk before the staff meeting.

    3. Grading meeting

The teaching staff approves the mid-year grading results. From that day the grades in the e-register are final.

    4. Meeting with the form teacher

On the Tuesday after the break, form teachers discuss semester results, attendance and plans for the second semester. Grades 1–3 at 17:00, Grades 4–8 at 17:45.
