Eighteen students from Grades 1–3, two from each class, took part in the final of the “Loud and Clear” competition in the school library. The jury awarded prizes to three students and gave two honourable mentions.

The finalists read passages from books they had chosen themselves, from fairy tales to nature stories. The jury assessed fluency, diction, pace and understanding of the text.

First place went to a student from class 3A, second to a student from class 2C and third to a student from class 3B. Honourable mentions went to students from classes 1B and 2A.

All finalists received books funded by the Parents' Council. The winners will read their passages to the pre-schoolers as part of the Reading Together project.
