Lunch fees

Lunches are paid in advance, by the 10th of the month, and cancelled meals are deducted from the next payment.

    Rates

    WhoPrice per lunch
    Student and pre-school child9,00 zł
    School employee16,00 zł

The student rate covers only the cost of food. Wages, utilities and kitchen equipment are paid for by the governing authority, which is why the staff rate is higher.

Rates are set by the head teacher in agreement with the governing authority. We announce any change in the rate via the e-register a month in advance.

    Payment dates and methods

The fee is paid by the 10th of the month for the current month, by bank transfer to the canteen's separate account.

We accept payments by bank transfer only. Siblings can share one transfer if the reference gives the names and classes of all the children.

    How we calculate the amount

We give the amount for the month in the e-register at the end of the previous month. It takes into account:

    • the number of days on which lunches are served;
    • a deduction for lunches cancelled in the previous month.

    Deductions for cancelled lunches

We deduct lunches cancelled by 8:00 on the day, by phone to the catering office or by message to the canteen's address. We cancel lunches on the day of a full-day school trip ourselves and deduct them too.

When a child stops having lunches, we refund any overpayment by transfer to the account from which the last payment came.

    Arrears

We notify you of arrears via the e-register after the 15th of the month. If arrears last longer than two months, we contact the parent and agree a way of paying them off together.

Arrears do not take lunch away from a child. We talk with the parent and check whether the family is entitled to a subsidy or a fee exemption.

    Subsidies and fee exemptions

Families in financial difficulty can apply for lunch funding at the social welfare centre. The application is submitted at the centre, and the school counsellor will help prepare the documents.

The head teacher can also exempt a family from all or part of the fees when it is in a particularly difficult financial or personal situation. Applications are submitted at the school office.

Only the catering manager and the school counsellor know about the funding. The information does not reach the form teacher or other students, and the child gets lunch just like everyone else.
